Journey With Wood

My journey with wood began around the year 2000AD with a whisper of Spirit that said ‘Go to the Wood’. Thus began an amazing adventure. With no background training or experience of working with wood I quickly became so at home with the craft that if felt as if I had been working at it my entire life. I later remembered that my great grandfather as a boat builder had been a genius with wood. It was my ancestral gift. Very quickly I began using pieces as visual aids and symbols while teaching in a Vocational College and in adult seminars. 

I was asked on numerous occasions to put the symbols and their explanation into book form, and so the first two parts of the Wood You Believe series was born; The Unfolding Self and the Emerging Self. The success of this and subsequent volumes has astounded me since to this day I still don’t consider myself as an author and never had any ambition to write books. They seemed to ‘happen’ the more pieces I created. I am deeply grateful and humbled from innumerable reports of the number of lives they have changed and transformed, and now what was once a ‘mustard seed’ of faith has become a fully-grown tree with many beautiful branches.
